This record was so much fun to record. The great Carco Clave' (Asleep at the Wheel, BR549, Chuck Mead) played steel guitar and regular guitar, on every track. Our good friend Scott Isnogle (Wanda Jackson) played bass on everything except 'After the Fight'. Many thanks to Rob Dehart and Scott Mckwen for BOTH playing bass on that one- Rob bowing it, and to all three for welcoming Dave into the club when he got his bass and took over. The Willies were very lucky to have John Troop (Nine Parts Devil) help with so many of the guitar duties, and come up with such great ideas. As far as the drummers go- Ken Coomer (Wilco) brought some serious funk to 3 of the tracks, as did Mark Medly (CPS, 9 Parts Devil), and Todd Jewell (Wanda Jackson). Although it took 2 years to finish we're so happy with it- mostly thanks to these amazing musicians!
